13. A picture of your favourite band
Our Lady Peace! I’ve long been a fan; I love their music. Plus, good ol’ Canadian boys!
14. A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.
My Daddy and my Mum. Please let them live forever. ❤
15. A picture of something you want to do before you die.
I would love to climb the stairs to the top, but they don’t let you anymore, you have to take the elevator…
16. A picture of someone who inspires you.
This is Scouter Mike. This was taken on Feb 29, 2012, at our Leap Year bonfire with the rovers at Camp Barnard.
He continually inspires me to do better, be a better person. I wrote in to Scouts and wrote a thank you for him, and this is what I said
“Scouter Mike is a dedicated Scouter who selflessly gives of his time, energy and resources. He has been a Scouter, a Venturer Advisor and is currently a Rover Advisor, as well as a high-ranked trainer for WoodBadge and serves on the Area team. With his crew, he teaches us valuable lessons by making us realize what is the right path and how to figure it out for ourselves – he really just observes our meetings and only asks questions when he sees a big gap in our logic and we haven’t picked up on it yet. He supports his Rovers by faithfully attending any camp or event we plan, and by being a stable and wise resource for us to come to when we have problems – Scouting or otherwise. Scouter Mike has taught us how to cultivate loyalty – to our crew, to our group, to ourselves and each other, and how to cultivate loyalty in others. The crew is already respectful of each other, and Scouter Mike teaches us how to gain respect from others and different ways we can display respect to others. He lives in a manner that would make Baden-Powell proud and encourages the crew to do the same. He provides guidance when we ask, and knows the BP&P inside out to help us figure out what the “right thing” is. A simple thanks is not enough, yet he asks for nothing in return from us. His joy is seeing his Rovers excel and succeed in all their endeavours, Scouting, scholastic, personal or other.”
